We Need to Go Deeper is the kind of chaotic, laugh-out-loud multiplayer game that turns friends into panicked, screaming submarine crew members. Imagine FTL meets Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, but underwater—and way more ridiculous. You and up to three friends (or unlucky strangers) are stuck piloting a barely functional submarine, diving into the depths of a Lovecraftian ocean filled with horrors you’re absolutely not prepared for. Someone’s steering, someone’s on weapons, someone’s patching up leaks, and someone’s panicking because a giant squid just ripped open the hull.
We Need to Go Deeper is a 2-4-player cooperative submarine rogue-like set in a Verne-inspired undersea universe. In the game, you and your crew must embark on many voyages into a mysterious undersea trench known as The Living Infinite. To be successful in your mission, you and your crew will have to work together to pilot a submarine, as only with your submersible in-tact will you be able to live to see the bottom of The Living Infinite.
