On the surface, it’s just about tossing stuff into a fireplace and watching it burn—pretty simple, right? But somehow, that simple act becomes weirdly satisfying, almost hypnotic. You’re not just burning random junk; you’re experimenting, discovering hidden combos, and unraveling a strangely melancholic little story in the process. There’s this eerie, cozy-yet-unnerving vibe, thanks to the haunting soundtrack and the letters you get from an increasingly unhinged pen pal. And as you sit there, mindlessly feeding the flames, you start to realize—maybe this isn’t just a game about burning things.
Little Inferno is a game about you burning things to stay warm in a frozen city. Every time you burn something, you get coins. These coins allow you to buy things from the catalog. More things equals more burning which makes you more coin. There are seven catalogs to collect, which unlocks more things to burn. The catch is, you must unlock them by combining certain objects together. As you burn things, you get some nice letters from others around you, which you can burn as well. Some letters contains items. Some letters require you to give an item. This is all part of progressing the story.
